WHERE CULTURES MEET
"CAMEL RACING IS MORE THAN A NEW PHENOMENON IN EUROPE. IT IS TRADITION, HISTORY AND CULTURE."
Gergely Muranyi
President
The European Camel Racing Federation (ECRF) is actively seeking partners to establish sports clubs and new national member federations across Europe. By joining us, you become part of a growing movement that connects sport, heritage, and international cooperation.
Camel racing is not only for professional athletes and jockeys. It offers opportunities for enthusiasts, organizers, and cultural ambassadors to engage with a centuries-old tradition that continues to evolve in the modern world. Beyond competition, it represents a community built on respect, shared experience, and cultural understanding.
Through involvement in camel racing, individuals and institutions can explore its heritage, contribute to its structured development in Europe, and become part of a unique sporting and cultural journey.
Camel racing is entering a new era. What was once rooted deeply in desert tradition has evolved into a dynamic and structured international sport. Today, it represents far more than competition, it embodies community, cultural identity, and shared ambition. Across continents, a new generation is discovering a discipline that connects heritage with modern athletic standards and global cooperation. Camel racing now stands as a meeting point of history and innovation, where tradition inspires progress and sport becomes a bridge between cultures. It is not only about speed on the track, but about belonging to a growing international movement shaped by respect, passion, and opportunity.
